June Blog: All about C.O.R.E.
This month's blog is all about C.O.R.E., Aptiv's Career Opportunity and Readiness Enhancement program! This program is about helping adults with disabilities learn pre-employment skills through classroom and community-based learning!
Participants get to experience touring local businesses, job shadowing, informational interviewing, and volunteering activities. They learn skills such as how to dress properly for work, creating a resume to showcase their abilities, apply for jobs, and more career-readiness skills.
After graduation, participants will go on to their next steps based on what they want to do and where they are at in their career goals.
C.O.R.E. began in the fall of 2015 to fill the need for employment ready adults in our communities!
