Meet Dan, our RemarkAble Citizen of the Month for October 2021! He was nominated by his Outcome Specialist, Nicole!
"Dan shows resilience in his work and takes pride in making our beautiful downtown Black River Falls area clean, rain or shine," she said. "Dan takes pride in doing exceptional work and it is safe to say that without Dan, our downtown wouldn't be nearly as welcoming!"
As a Sanitation Worker for the city of Black River Falls, Dan works 2 mornings a week cleaning up the sidewalks and parking lots. He also makes sure to recycle any pieces he can.
Dan is honored to have been nominated by Nicole, and it makes him happy that she thinks he does a good job. He only missed 2 days this year due to storms, he prides himself on being accountable.
"Daniel is very determined to succeed to the best of his ability in everything he does. He is very kind and considerate, and always tries his best to be helpful to those around him," his mom, Sarah said.
Outside of work, he is a participant in Day Services at Aptiv, helps around the house with various chores, loves his cat named Soren, and as pictured above, a wiz at building with Legos!
"Dan also stays very involved in his community which may contribute to his passion for his work," Nicole said. "Thank you for all you do Dan!"
